ELC-12
Year Levels
To support growing enrolments across the years, the Campus has continued to expand, purchasing surrounding properties and building new facilities. Despite its growth, the Campus remains true to the spirit of those early years – culturally diverse yet bonded by our common faith and shared community.

Year Levels
While plenty of change has already occurred, there are even more changes on the horizon for Officer Campus. Testament to quality education outcomes and nurturing atmosphere, our master plan continues to evolve in order to meet the enrolment demands of the local Muslim community. In the coming years we will continue to see more state-of-the-art facilities added so that our students can flourish academically, physically, religiously and socially.

Prep-Y6
Year Levels
Despite being a new campus, Doveton students benefit from the expertise and care of some of our most experienced team members. The Doveton teaching team has a nurturing approach and are working hard to ensure Doveton Campus is established consistent with the needs and expectations of our community.
Our Facilities
Minaret College offers a wide range of state-of-the-art facilities that enhance the learning experience for students. These facilities, from spaces for sports and physical activity to advanced technology resources, play a crucial role in providing a dynamic and enriching educational environment that aligns with the school’s overall approach to learning.

Masjid & Prayer
All students from Year 2 and above perform prayers in congregation. At prayer times, the athan is heard throughout the school, and students make their way to our purpose-built wudhu areas before heading to their designated prayer halls.

VCE Study Spaces
The VCE years is a major milestone in our students lives and we recognise the need for them to have their own space to focus on their studies. At these spaces, students have purpose-built areas to study, be it individually or in a group. Comforts such as a pantry and lounge area are also made available for VCE students, to facilitate their study sessions.

Science Laboratories
Across
the Springvale and Officer campuses, our secondary school students enjoy
learning in labs fitted with state-of-the-art equipment. From powerful
microscopes to 3D printing machines, our Biology, Physics, Chemistry and
general science labs are tailored to prepare students for VCE and beyond.

Art & Cooking
Spacious and light-filled art rooms help to bring out the creative best in our students, while our well-equipped learning kitchens pique our students’ culinary interests.

Sports & Physical Activities
With a strong emphasis on outdoor play, our campuses have expansive grounds and facilities for students to get active. Be it in a game of footy or soccer on our oval, basketball in the indoor or outdoor courts or a quick session of tiggy during break times, our students have the space to stretch and get some fresh air. Our younger students enjoy break times at the various playgrounds around campus, with fun climbing frames, slides and much more.

Canteen Services
Canteen services are available on our campuses for students to refuel during their break and lunch periods. Curated menus cater to the diverse taste buds of our students, with nutritious options and an array of beverages to choose from. Parents may also choose to preorder meals through the Flexischools app.Â
Throughout their time at Minaret College, students participate in various workshops and leadership programs to enhance their social skills and emotional intelligence. More specialised services are also available including student counselling and special needs.
Student Counselling
Students who require additional support have access to a school counsellor. Counsellors work with students individually and offer targeted interventions to support students through an obstacle or challenge they are facing.
Counsellors work with students to build specific skills and thus ensure students continue to be motivated, socially connected and ready to learn. Counsellors provide an additional ‘safe space’ for students to seek help and support.
Special Needs
When required, our Special Needs team may assess a student to understand what interventions or adjustments may be required for a student to best learn. They also review recommendations from external specialists and provide recommendations and training to teachers so that the unique needs of each student are catered for as they learn in the classroom with their peers. Individual support plans are put in place so that the student, parents and teachers are clear on each student’s learning goals.
