Early Learning Centre

Minaret ELC is set in a quiet pocket of Officer over-looking the beautiful surrounds. Our ELC caters for three to five year old children and allows them to experience the long day-care setting with a strong Islamic focus. Our friendly teachers will help your child learn in a fun, happy and safe environment.

Minaret ELC program is based on developmental play activities that develop your child’s Islamic, social, emotional, physical and cognitive learning. Programming is available to parents at all times and is always flexible enough to cater for individual needs of the child.

We use an enquiry based approach to learning, which emerges slowly over time and provide opportunities to nurture children’s understanding, discussion, planning and creative expression. We provide a stimulating learning environment that is rich in possibilities, where children to learn how to solve problems, ponder, imagine and create.

At Minaret Preschool we believe in capturing the “learning moment” with all our children. We offer a quality curriculum that will prepare your child for those formative school years and supports a smooth transition from Preschool to Foundation with much involvement from the Foundation staff at Minaret College.

Our Mission, philosophy and curriculum is guided by both the National and State Early years’ framework. These frameworks view childhood as a time of “Belonging, Being and Becoming” where learning and development takes place in a play-based learning environment that is engaging and builds success for life.
