Minaret Secondary School includes all students from Years 7-12. In order to offer a tailored pastoral care to each student, the Secondary School is divided into two sub-schools: Middle School (Years 7-9) and Senior School (Years 10-12). Furthermore, every year level has a coordinator who looks after students’ academic progress and wellbeing.
We feel privileged to have the Qur’an, our holy book as source of knowledge and the Prophet Mohamed (SAW), our role model as our source of inspiration.
The Secondary School focus is on developing students’ potential to the best of their abilities in all aspects related to schooling and life skills.
Our Secondary students are exposed to the highest level of instructional practices that challenge them academically and expand their intellectual interest, in a caring, nurturing, and supportive learning environment. Their participation in competitions, interfaith dialogue, debates, excursions, incursions, camps and sporting events helps them develop the necessary maturity to become an active and productive citizen.
Our approach to life highlights self-worth, self-reliance, knowledge of oneself and capacity for leadership. It also encourages students to acquire the skills and discipline necessary for academic accomplishment and learn to reflect, take risks and discover by themselves.
